In the shimmering waters off
the eastern coast of Greece, the sheltered coves and scattered islands
of the Sporades are the perfect place to unwind, whether on flotilla
or by bareboat. With fine sandy beaches, pine-perfumed hills, ancient
ruins and abundant sea life, this sailing area exudes a sense of
exploration and independence. Start your flotilla or bareboat cruise
from the sheltered Gulf of Volos at our Milina yacht base or from
cosmopolitan Skiathos (Sunsail’s ‘pick up’ or
‘drop off’ island base). The Sporades fleet ranges from
33ft to 50ft.
Leda Club is peacefully located
amid stunning scenery on the outskirts of the traditional village
of Horto on the Pelion Peninsula. Built in a unique, attractive
style in beautiful gardens, the Club overlooks a sheltered, uncrowded
bay. Club Leda offers an idyllic peaceful, unspoilt ambience. Its
beautiful gardens are filled with bougainvillaea, pampas grasses,
unusual shrubs and flowers. Just a five minute walk away from the
Club you’ll find the small, quiet village of Horto which has
a traditional Greek taverna and two mini-markets. Milina, just a
few kilometres further on, offers a choice of tavernas, shops and
a more lively atmosphere. There are endless possibilities for exploring
the beautiful area around the gulf, including our own trips and
excursions to key places of interest. Reserved for adults and teenagers
over 16 years of age outside school vacations, Leda is perfect for
those wishing to avoid the hustle and bustle of families. Children
